We like to keep our indexes as up to date as possible, always welcoming feedback and updates for the websites in the sectors that we test every quarter.

The Central Government Index has recently been updated in readiness for the next benchmark test in Quarter 3. This sector in particular, is continually changing especially as departments are gradually moving over to the .gov domain.
Changes made this time include:-
• Correction of the name for the Department of Education Northern Ireland’s website.
• Removal of the Learning Skills Improvement Service, this department closed last year and the website is no longer live.
• Removal of Northern Ireland Legal Services Commission which now forms part of the Department for Justice Northern Ireland website.
• 3 more departments have moved over to the .gov domain and we have amended their urls accordingly i.e. Civil Service; UK Trade and Investments; Monitor Independent Regulator of NHS Foundation Trusts.

The Central Arbitration Commission will be moving to .gov shortly and we will include this change in future indexes.
We welcome feedback from Central Government web managers should we need to update any web addresses or department names in this continually changing sector.

For further information or to advise of a change please contact us.
