Workshop success heralds a new digital governance solution.

Sitemorse delivered its third workshop session in partnership with international audit and risk management specialists Deloitte and partner company Cookie Reports for those needing help to comply with the new EU law on cookies.
Cookie Reports, a fairly recent start-up, has been successful in delivering technology-driven solutions to some major brands in both the private and public sectors, including AXA, the Met Office, Coca-Cola, Barclays, Clarks, and HMRC.
This success is all the more interesting because Cookie Reports is just the first major deployment of the Sitemorse Digital Governance Development Platform (DGDP) - a software suite that users can licence and configure themselves to meet their own requirements for web governance.
"The need for good digital governance is becoming clear to all major organisations, not just because international regulation like the EU Privacy Directive is becoming so widespread but because it's an essential part of brand management now." Says Lawrence Shaw, Chief Executive of Sitemorse.
"Big companies have an enormous number of websites and not everything out there is good. It's not feasible to manage a major web presence manually, so it's important to know the technology exists to manage and keep track of large numbers of sites in a speedy, scalable way. Our digital platform can handle up to 1000,000 sites a day" he added.
Sitemorse has been the world's only single solution for web content governance, monitoring, recording and benchmarking for more than a decade, but it's only recently that technology has advanced enough to allow the Sitemorse "engine" to be able to be licenced. And the constant background of an increasing need for compliance with international laws and regulations means that more tailored solutions are now desirable.
