Software developer — salary subject to experience

Job Description

We are looking for a programmer to join a small team developing our flagship product, the Sitemorse web site testing software.

Prior knowledge of the development language, Python, is a bonus but not essential.

Knowledge of web protocols and standards is essential, as is proven experience in producing quality software in the Internet environment.

The right candidate will be organised, keen and self motivated. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of one or more stages of the software development life cycle and to hone your skills.

Frequent independent communication with our clients, including FTSE 100 corporations and UK Government organisations.

The job will initially be home based, although you may later be required to work one or more days a week in an office in Central London.

Senior Internal / Telesales

Job Description

Sitemorse offers a pretty unique solution (requires no setup or install 'SaaS') that focuses resources on optimization, reducing operation costs and improving conversions. We also protect clients brand and reducing their compliance risks across both web and Intranet sites (UK, European and Worldwide).

What are we looking for?

  • A proven track record of success and achievement within a business to business sales role (minimum 2.5 years) sales.
  • A self starter, highly driven and results focused with a positive, adaptable approach and strong work ethic.
  • An intelligent, quick thinker who can provide customer focused solutions and demonstrate commercial acumen.

The Role, B2B Sales, will be initially home based but may require several days travel to a central London office in the future.

  • Manage current accounts, with a focus on adding value (both monetary and to the clients service)
  • Within major accounts, identify new opportunities
  • Research key companies in the sector and prepare your own quality leads
  • Contacting new business prospect over the telephone
  • Identifying key decision makers in companies
  • Learning the art of professional sales presentations over the phone
